A lookalike audience is a Meta audience of new people who are similar to a source audience you provide, such as your customers, leads or website visitors. Meta finds people with similar characteristics in the country you choose.
How it works
- Pick a source: purchasers, high-value customers, qualified leads or engaged visitors.
- Choose a country and size (1% is closest to the source; larger percentages are broader).
- Meta builds an audience of similar people.
Tips
- Quality beats quantity: a source of real customers usually outperforms one of all visitors.
- Send lead outcomes back to Meta so it learns who actually buys.
- Exclude existing customers from prospecting lookalikes.
